Equity Trader/Analist - Trading Desk

The equity trading desk executes the equity orders, single stock-, program-, and futures, for PGGM’s mandates globally, all withing the confines of best execution. You will be the primary point of contact and are able to pro-actively anticipate and adhere to the wishes and requirements of the equity portfolio managers. With your existing and solid network of banks and brokers you will function as the portfolio managers’ eyes and ears  in the market. In addition, and together with the team, you will be responsible to further enhance the automation capabilities as well as efficiency improvements of the trading process.

The team

The Trading Desk forms an integral part of the investment chain. Running a cost efficient and flawless operation through scalable and robust processes, the Trading Desk is able to provide added value to the overall performance of our client.

With a data-driven mindset and a focus on automation we are  serious players on the international podium, trading bonds, interest-rate derivatives, equities and currencies worldwide. In addition we are in constant contact with the regulators, central banks, brokers and investment banks. 

·      You have a University degree, preferably with elements of data analytics and programming skills

·      You possess an interest in financial markets and technological development

·      You have 2-3 years of trading experience under your belt

·      You can be characterized as innovative, result driven, pro-active and curious

·      You are able to perform under pressure

·      You are a team player

·      You are able to substantiate your trading activity both qualitatively and quantitatively
